Ship Ahoy!

Today it was finally time for an outing! With a picnic! Yay!! We went to the Göta canal locks at Berg. There were lots of people, campervans, dogs and boats there. We went all the way down the seven-lock system to the lake and watched boats climb. I wore my life jacket as an extra precaution.

We found a picnic table close to the water where we had our picnic. Last year, me and Dolly were here on our very first outing together. We missed her a lot. I got double poodle portions of the sandwiches. Just when we had finished and started to head back, it started to rain cats and dogs. I got really wet. And we missed out on ice cream because of it. Grr....

In the afternoon, we went to grandma and grandpa for fika. I got my meatball with shrimp cheese and the humans had yummy carrot cake with their coffee. Awesome! And I did get my Lickin' Liver ice cream after dinner. There is still the ice cream every day pact going on, I am sure Dolly would like that. Miss you!
