When it's cold and wet outside...

...bake!

I tried to take some arty shots of flowers in the rain, but they didn't work. So instead I retreated to the warmth of my kitchen and got on with my favourite rainy day activity. My excuse today is that I owe one of the teachers at Little G's pre-school a chocolate cake (my contribution to a silent auction last term). Such a shame that the recipe makes two cakes... I wonder what we will do with the second! I was recommended this recipe when looking for an owl cake for my daughter. It is yummy, although I don't think I'll be bothering with the decoration today!
