Shetland Boat Week 2017

A lovely warm and sunny morning.  It clouded over for a bit in the afternoon with a light shower.  It cleared again and a lovely sunny evening. 

I've been working on the museum desk today.  Shetland Boat Week started today, so it's been a really busy day.  Finished work and headed to work in the pub after tea.  It was a steady shift, but finished early.  Been out for a walk with Julie and the dogs.  Now time for feet up.

Day one of Shetland Boat Week and a great turn out with the fine day.  There's all sorts on all week, movies in our auditorium, boat trips in various models, children activities, lectures and much more.  There's also loads of boats on display, not only from the museum but also from the public too.  Here's Mac(phail) Ward having a look at some outside on the pier at Hay's Dock, Lerwick.
