Went to Martindale today and walked up Hallin Fell which I last did with Bonnie collie some six years ago!  I'd forgotten what a short and steep walk it is and also how spectacular the scenery is.  Will have to go back very soon.   Met a group of youngsters from some organisation or other who were finding it very hard, well not all of them, just a handful.  One lad was refusing to go any further!  He was given a pep talk but wasn't having it!  One of Misty by a cairn in extras.
