Treasure Island

Well, given that there seemed to be no wind in town at all, we travelled to Granton fully expecting the day to be nothing more than a motor. How wrong we were. A fine light breeze sped us over to Inchkeith Island, and there we picnicked (OK, there were also some beers and a bottle of wine) and explored the gun emplacements and abandoned buildings. A tremendous place. Visited by Samuel Johnson didn't you know. And Mary Queen of Scots. And noo, the Pensioner and crew! And the wind obligingly came round to the south east to speed us back.

So, an excellent day, and rounded off by our final port of call - the Diggers - and who was there but Frankie boy, back from a cycle down the Forth. Beers all round! (Well a lime and soda for Long Juan, it should be recorded. He's still aff it).
