An Evening Primrose?
Regular readers of my journal will know that two years ago (yes, really that long) we moved into a house that came with a huge garden, all the way round it...not just a 'back and front'! All totally new to me, only having had a small patch of lawn and lots of pots before, I needed help. I still have that help, because it just takes too much time to manage myself. On Friday Di was weeding and pointed out an unknown plant that had sprung up. She knows I wouldn't have put anything in without checking, and she didn't know what it was or where it had come from. So, when the flower came out today I snapped and sent her the photo, she 'thinks it could be' evening primrose but will confirm when she's here later in the week.

Operation Gargae made a good start, everything decanted from the 50 years worth of diy shelving, storage etc and said storage (all made from old wardrobes, cabinets and even drawers with runners still attached, broken down, stacked in the car and taken to the dump. New shelving ordered, delivery tomorrow. So, will make a start on thistle alley, while we still have good weather (due to rain mid week) until it arrives and then get started on the rebuild!
