Life is a Minestrone !!

Our new neighbour......

There are two large apartments on the complex, i say complex, there's a small block of smaller apartments in front and below us and some more apartments above and behind us, the apts behind us are pretty much surrounded by pine trees and have virtually no view of the sea, be warned if you do think about booking.
As i was saying, the two larger apts, no's 81 and 82 have a commanding position on the compex and excellent views of the sea in front.
Apt 82 overlooks the complex's small swimmimg pool, where 81 nestles on the edge of a pine forest. This is the apt we prefer as its more secluded and gives more privacy.
Last year while we were here, we had jays, tits, sparrows and other animals visiting our balcony to take the tit bits we left out for them. Before we turned in on Sunday, well the early hours of Monday morning, we left chunks of bread out for the birds to take.
Later in the week we'll visit a local shop that sells peanuts and various types of seed to cater for all the birds.
Monday, as usual is a total relax day, out come the Sony e-readers, accompanied on the little table i mentioned yesterday by the music player, a couple of wine glasses, and the camera, what more do you need......??

It doesn't take long before one of the resident Eurasian Jay's gets brave enough to take a chunk of bread.

Larger view here........

If you're wondering what i'm reading on my e-reader, it's "The Eagle in The Sand" by Simon Scarrow, which is part of his Cato series, which is about the adventures of a Centurion while serving the Roman Empire, music wise, i've brought a 32 gb memory stick with all of my music on it, so there's music for pretty much every time of day............!!

More to come.......
