Just a few

Just a few bullocks in this field this afternoon, as we walked with Russet through the lanes. This field is an ancient ridge field from medieval times, and the "ridges" have survived the centuries - and the cattle!
Although we were able to get out this afternoon, rain did rather spoil the morning for our guests, who dashed from shop to shop in town in order to keep dry! 
We enjoyed a tasty dinner of avocado chicken with strawberry and mascarpone tart, accompanied by some delicious wines!  It was a most enjoyable evening!
