Another one read

Book number two of the holidays completed in much shorter order than number one, although not whilst Bailey was still asleep. It certainly lived up to the reviews and now I need to decide what to read next from the pile that is waiting. 

A few standard Sunday jobs were done this morning: washing Bailey's bedding, (finally) cutting the grass and a food shop mainly for Bailey but no requirement for work just 2 weeks into the holidays. 

We had a visit this afternoon from the bestest friend and the official Bailey sitter who hasn't seen Bailey for a month. He chose to make more of a fuss of the one that he hadn't seen for a fortnight in typically awkward fashion but did work up to being suitably happy about the other one eventually. 

And tonight, I have gone back to doing a bit of sewing whilst watching the telly, including the final programme of Poldark for this series. I had hoped one of the villains would have got his complete comeuppance this series but that's something that'll have to wait until next year.
