The Winner Takes it All

In ABBA format..
Arsenal won the Community Shield today beating Chelsea on penalties after the game was level at 1-1 after 90 minutes.
This was the first time the ABBA penalty format has been used in the English game. The change in format is designed to prevent the team going first having an advantage. The model is simple and very similar to a tie break in tennis. Team A takes the first penalty then team B take the next two penalties. Team A then take two penalties and so on.
Arsenal won 4:1 on penalties. Nice start to the season.
