Taking it slowly and patiently

Today was mostly gardening and we really owned it out there in there in the suburban jungle. Took down the weeds, hammered the rubbish, kicked ass with the lawnmower. An unstoppable duo of backyard superheroes.

Actually we took it quite slow and patiently. That's the way to go with gardening.

I did take a break in the afternoon and spent an hour with a young Greek woman who showed me a few new tricks and left me happy. I do love the Apple support programme. She also took it slowly and showed great patience.

Top Gun went off to see his sister in Canada this afternoon. The house always seems half empty without his big frame filling the doorways. Hope he has a great week with his sister.

I ache a little now, in a good way. Satisfying stuff. Been a good weekend.
