Easy on Sunday morning..

A rain free day so far, with plenty of sunshine and a brisk breeze.

At last Alan has made it to the Cricket. It is Scarborough Cricket Festival and Yorkshire are playing Essex (I think)!   Off he's gone with his flask and picnic.

Meanwhile Holly and I went for a walk and headed towards the Cinder Path but decided to head straight across instead.    We went further than on previous walks and were delighted that the road led down to the sea, and a cliff top walk in both directions.   We did not venture too far on the cliff top but the views all around were stunning.   Here you can see towards the Castle.

On the return journey I picked blackberries and some crab apples (I think).  Just enough to make a crumble tomorrow.  

A definite must for another day with a picnic.
