Octopus and the crab

J worked from home so I could have the day off the get the foundations of the patio done. Finally managed to get a wacker plate and get the hard core in place before it started to rain. Laid the outer parts of the patio down and worked out there the outside would be before starting to put it down. We are having a compass design, which has lots of different wedge pieces to make it up. Took Kilda for a run on the beach after lunch when the rain started to come in. A local artist has created this Octopus to go at the end of one of the groins in Portie. There was a dead crab on one of the posts. Just looks like the octopus is coming down to get a very small snack. Didn’t see the rain drop on the lens till later. Dam. Got back and managed to get most of the compass done before dinner. Decided to finish it off afterwards and managed to get to fitting the last 3 pieces before I noticed the gaps were wrong and they wouldn’t fit. Ahh had to lift it all up again and remove the concrete. Still, did manage to get the step tops finished and the foundations are nice a level for when I get around to doing it again.
