St Catherine of Alxandria

She's been all cleaned up and given a lovely entrance now. When I was a little girl she was tucked away along a lane near the boggy water's edge. That land has all been reclaimed. They think the holy well dates back to early 6th century.
Our grandparents' old house is situated behind this in Killybegs. Another trip down memory lane en route to Slieve League amongst the highest sea cliffs in Europe. At least we got to the top this time before the rain came!
