1st Spud Harvest of the year

A lovely day off today - I read fiction, fenced off the newly rejigged herb patch from the hens and harvested our first spuds - 2kg from 3 seed potatoes - better than last year. Still got 7 more bags to go plus Jerusalem artichokes and oca - tuber tastic this year!

I spent the afternoon perusing my cookbooks for some new dishes/inspiration - very much looking forward to our dinners this week.
