Beach Party...

on the square. The county seat shuts down the streets once a summer and hosts a beach party. Plenty of things for the kids to do. Face painting, sand art, music, vendors, games, pony rides, vollyball, old car show and so much more. The local Rotary Club sponsors the "Running of the balls". 3000 balls were sold and the winner received $1,500.00 dollars. The balls are released down the town hill into a trough, first one in wins! Nineteen other prizes are given out also. So plenty of fun and relaxation for all. We had a nice time. Doubt we won but we had 5 balls in the race.
