Ski Nautique
My daughter and I spent a very pleasant afternoon beside Gosfield Lake watching our friend Geoff and his mates water skiing/wakeboarding and being towed on a big rubber ring. They are camping there over the weekend to celebrate his birthday. He has only tried the sport once a couple of years ago but went straight out with a long rope and did very well. We all enjoyed watching the expert skills on the water of a beautiful, eighteen-year-old girl with loose, long, blonde hair.
Today's poem is Flying Crooked by Robert Graves. http://www.inspirationalstories.com/poems/flying-crooked-robert-graves-poems/
When I saw that this was the poem for the day I decided to try to capture a "cabbage white" in flight. I wasn't having much luck when I got a message from my daughter asking me out. It's late. I plan to finish this post and catch up with comments in due course
