Birthday surprise

I wasn't surprised that it was my birthday - I've had a few so I know roughly when it falls. I wasn't surprised that we were going out for a meal. I was surprised that my sisters and brother-in-law had travelled from the frozen north to join us - a lovely surprise indeed. Just finished the meal and I think that beer might happen.
