Morning Commute

Often on schooldays, I drive both kids up the PCH to the Palisades at a godforsaken hour, and then backtrack to drop my younger son off in Santa Monica. This would normally be the view out my car window, if I had a moment to glance out and enjoy it.

Well this morning, I had that moment. Rod took our younger son to school today.

So after Pali drop-off, I had the luxury of pulling over on the PCH during my drive home. It felt so indulgent to be taking it all in, savoring the early morning beach scene, photographing a different kind of morning commute.
