Set off early to go up to Lancaster and we were doing quite well until the heavens opened over Birmingham. Then we heard that the M6 was completely closed at J19-20 with at least a 1.5 hour delay.

Thank goodness for Google Maps! It knew all about the accident and any other congestion and guided us around the lot. It still took us 7 hours to get here though. It's sunny here - a miracle!
