I see Your True colours

Whilst Himself loves the creation of vegetables, fruit and. Berries I'm loving flowers.

I spend long times wandering round the flower section of the home- improvement type places... but I can't find what I'm looking for.

I've peony plants which haven't flowered - I planted them too late. I have dahlias - one was eaten by something evil- and one which is very green but no evidence of flowers. I have five sunflowers - no head yet.

I do have cornflowers, and poppies and some yellow ones.

But I want something beautiful. I've spent an hour tonight going thru a garden catalogue .. what am I like ? Still can't see exactly what it is I want. Watched an hour of monty don; couldn't see what was so lovely about his gardens ... sooo much foliage but no flowers... and then I saw his sweet peas... and then I remembered my sweet peas have only produced two flowers only
