Koi Pond

Yesterday afternoon, my younger son scratched his cornea in a fluke accident, resulting in us spending the better part of the afternoon and evening in the ER.

We had to follow up with his regular pediatrician today, and he got a clean bill of health. As is our custom upon leaving the doctor's office, we checked out the outdoor lobby's koi pond. I took several uninspired photos of the fish, then focused on the 'water feature,' which I've always enjoyed. With absolutely no context, I actually thought the photo looked pretty cool -- dynamic and geometrical.

I'm sure I'll have ample opportunity to improve my pediatric koi pond shots over the next few years.....
