Sun, rain, more sun

I'm still in Derbyshire with Alfie the Beardie. We thought about driving home to Cornwall today but Ann didn't want to because Saturday is changeover day and everyone in the world seems to be heading south on a Saturday. Glad we didn't because zillions of posts kept popping up on FB about long, long delays on the M5. We will head home tomorrow.


Anyway, this morning I had a lovely walk in the sunshine but by this afternoon it was raining. Ann doesn't have any rainy day clothes with her, so her sister Sue, and brother-in-law, Rob, took us for our walk. It started to thunder and Alfie got scared. I used to be scared of thunder but I'm a bit deaf these days grown up mature collie who isn't scared of anything. Ann just lay on the sofa and caught up on all her soaps. We got absolutely soaked. But then do you know what happened?........................... As soon as we got home the sun came out again so the humans went out into the garden for a little chillax.

As us doggies have walked more than 8 miles today we had a little chillax too.

And it's now 7.30pm so the humans are still chillaxing in the sunshine.................. with Prosecco. Yay!
