Scotney Castle

On this day of sun and heavy rain storms we visited Scotney Castle. A very picturesque place with the ruins of a medieval castle and moat. At one stage in its ownership the castle was made into ruins for aesthetic reasons relating to the garden design.

After a heavy downpour we had lunch in the pantiles area of Tonbridge Wells. Another great place to visit with its market stalls and old historic buildings.

Soon we are out for an Italian meal. A good weekend.
