Claire and Alison go for a long walk - and get drenched. I dose up on Ibuprofen and Paracetamol to combat a sore shoulder. Megan heads off to Oban to swim. The Bannermans, Prescotts, Ailsa and Owen arrive in convoy.

I heat up my lamb and apricot stew and we eat, drink, make merry. Nick cycles in, unannounced, from Port Appin. Tents are erected, tequila and whisky consumed, guitars strummed and vocal chords exercised. It's not Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young - but I have seen it all before.
