August CELTA IH Bcn, Day 1

Back blip

Number 54 for me please!  Bus stop on way home.

That's day 1 over on my annual CELTA course with friend and colleague Philippa (ex blipper and occasional lurker miralgato).  All 12 trainee teachers seem nice.  Seven females, 5 males; two Moroccans, one Catalan, one Russian, one Mexican/American, an American and 5 British.  Age range from just turned 21 to 43.  Experience from zilch to 10 years.

Tomorrow half of them will teach their first 40' lesson.  Looking forward to a good month!
