journey south

Our time on Skye sadly came to an end as we travelled south to Ayr (where we have a wedding to attend on Saturday). The weather was awful until we got to Loch Lochmond when it brightened a little. We took a few pit stops on thee way and sat in an enormous queue into Fort William. The best stop was the main blip, a mile walk around a small lochen in Glencoe, a welcome stretch of the legs and fresh air , despite the rain.

The journey took 10 hours in all, why does Skye have to be so far away?
