Big Cottonwood Canyon

worked hard all day. The great thing about SLC is in just 20 mins you can be up in the Wasatch mountains. This is where in the Winter the skiers and snowboarders go ski Solitude, Alta, Brighton and Snowbird. In the summer it makes for great hikes. So as the sun does not set till 7.30 pm leaving work at 5 pm means there is still time to enjoy the views. Drove home through the beautiful mountains by way of Midvale, got slightly side tracked by stopping to take a picture of an American badger! Awesome colours in the trees, reds, pinks, yellow, green, orange, a true sight to behold. Homeward bound via Park City for dinner at the "No Name" Saloon.
