A View From A Bridge

I woke up to a lovely morning of mist hanginf in the air but I wasn't up in time to get out there and get the shots. I got some shots as I went to work but they just didn't convey the feeling.

Luckily for me, the cleaner of our holiday lodge had left a bag of meat in the fridge. A great excuse to head of down to Ullswater!

As I approached the bridge another photographer was in the pedestrian niche on the north side. I observed that his long lens was focussed on the swans. As I was shooting south he left saying: "Stay on that side!" In a few noments the swan appeared from under the bridge. A good brood!
