Evening all.

This is a backblip of part of the canal which winds past a public hostelry near Chesterfield.

I think the canal is in the process of being cleaned up and regenerated and only runs for a few miles before it falls back into a state of disrepair and is impassible by boat.

I can't remember what i was doing in this area of Chsterfield on this particular day, but i'm sure it was important, as was the need to stop, take a breath, take a draught and take a photo!
