Lake Garda

A really good day exploring towns around Lake Garda. We even found a convertible gold Rolls that looked just a little out of place.

We went by coach and bus, walked a lot, crossed the Lake several times by boat, merged with the masses in very hot temperatures but found a great little beach for swimming and jumping off a jetty, and then headed home by train.

And, to top off a very full day, Elbows and I abandoned the kids and went to watch Aida in the Arena Di Verona.

It was amazing. Very long. And incredibly warm but they had amazing voices and great stage scenery.

The intervals were weird. People got up and walked out between the acts, leaving us checking up that the opera wasn't ending on cliff hangers each time ....
