Actually I am, it is Bill who was our host this evening. A lovely meal and some useful info.

The other excitement was meeting Steve the pool man from Chorley Wood. I'd given up hope that he was coming and so had just sorted out the reluctant pool pump, I was still glad when he appeared to check over my handiwork. 

He vacumned out the debris, including a frankly huge spider and showed me how it all worked before rushing off to a three day reggae festival. Seems it is quite a good life (if quiet) for expats out here.
