MYKONOS...DELOS..day 11

Best news J came out of hospital yesterday...now we just need to wrap him in cotton wool until the wedding and then until the transplant.
Today we left early to catch the 10am boat to Delos...but we just missed it:( so we went to little Venice to have a frappe and see the windmills from a distance (will cheat blip later). We eventually caught the 11:30 very choppy boat to Delos; the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. It has 14 habitants and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It was quite amazing and took us 3 hours to walk round. So much has been preserved and was built BC!!
Felt a bit poorly half way through our visit. Not sure if was too much sun or what but I was glad to sit in the shade with a cool drink.
The boat trip back was as choppy but better on deck.
We then went to visit the windmills again...close up this time....before a gyros lunch followed by a chocolate and strawberry waffle (we shared it)...then back to the windmills by sunset (Ill cheat blip that too!!.
Walking round Mykonos town is like a massive maze and we went round in circles several times over!!!!!!
Our walk back took over 30 minutes uphill....
Really glad to be in bed zzzzzzz
