All Roads Lead to Rome

August photo challenge 2017 #4 Path

20,000 steps walked in our day of exploring Hamburg. It started with 453 steps up to the top of the church of St Michaelis where we were rewarded with fabulous 360 degree views of the city and harbour. Next we headed down to the harbour and the fabulous old warehouses of Speicherstadt where goods such as coffee and spices were brought in.

We then headed north past the Rathaus (townhall) and on to the Alster Lake and back down through the park that runs the lenghth of the city. 

Time to rest our tired feet before heading back to Speicherstadt and the fabulous Miniatur Wunderland where we went front the USA to Scandanavia, around Germany, Switzerland, Austria and ended in Italy all in 2 hours. The highlight for the kids was the Death Star that followed the Lufthansa flight into the airport.
