Braelangwell.
This is the lovely fishing lodge we are staying in. With a mile of the river Caron it is a salmon fishing haven. The river has been rising ever since we arrived and is now a good height. The salmon however are now running which is not providing ideal conditions to catch too many fish so I am told.
Last evening we had a terrific surprise when our Neice managed to getaway from her course and had driven for 7 hours to join her Mum, Dad, Sister and of course us for two nights which is lovely.
Today has been another busy day fishing for those who wanted to. Mr Tbay and I were sent out first thing to purchase some freshly caught Lobster for this evening. See extra photo. This afternoon another quest, Mels, and I headed for Tain for a shopping expedition. Mr Tbay headed for the local distillery Balblair where they sampled some very nice whisky!
Weather today still decidedly dodgy.
