Summer at the river
Murdoch is much better today and I even took him on a short and slow walk. The problem is now that the anti inflammatory medication has started working he is starting to run around more but how do you tell a dog to be careful and take it easy?
On the way into Cobham village to get groceries and collect the dry cleaning, I noticed the river was looking lovely - full and over grown now that we are at the height of the summer, those banks are just bursting with growth and colour. There were children paddling in the river today, swinging from the branches of the willow tree, it looked idyllic.
A quiet weekend ahead - Adam comes home tomorrow which will be lovely, but he goes back again on Sunday. Luke is settling in to Paris, he has met up with some other British students also working there, and tonight they are playing tennis at the courts in Luxembourg Gardens, how cool is that?
