The Old and The New

A quick blip of the "A Celebration Of Chester" statue outside the Town Hall today on our way to meet friends for lunch.  It was installed in 1992 as part of the 900th anniversary celebrations for Chester Cathedral.  I've often meant to blip it but could never decide on the best angle......still not sure I've done it justice.

If you look closely you might just see a bride & groom coming out of the Town Hall to have their photos taken.
