Carole Feuerman's Swimmer
Carole Feuerman's Swimmers in Capri
From the beginning of August it will be possible to admire some of American artist Carole Feuerman's hyper-realistic swimmer sculptures in Liquid art system's galleries at Capri, Anacapri and Positano. Feuerman's swimmers appear to have "floated" to their locations on the island and Amalfi Coast, in order to reach the place where they appear to have been made for. There is a correspondence between the site and the artwork, as the sculptures were created to have a continuous relationship to water, which the historical coastal locations have continued to hold over the centuries.
