School trip to Pendle!

Miss had her work cut out with the very small class of 'boys' on the Pendle Hill trip today; We set out in good heart, but it wasn't long before the familiar 'are we nearly there yet' and 'I need the toilet' moans were heard. Anyway, the small class of three, er 'boys' finally reached the top, some way behind their sprightly 'teacher' and saw such fantastic views over the whole of the county and beyond that all whining stopped.

After a lovely lunch at The Pendle Inn, Barley, which Miss very kindly bought, we went on to Newchurch-in-Pendle, the home of Witches Galore, or 'The Witch Shop'. There really were proper witches inside, (AND ONE SAT ON A CHAIR OUTSIDE, TOO) but then we realised that they were, in fact, customers! Miss bought us all a nice cup of coffee, before setting off for home.
