Rest Day

There is a day off in the middle of the orienteering to give our legs a rest. We visted Crathes Castle (extra), walked a stretch of the old Deeside railway , met a former work colleague and felllow blipper Robin for coffee, watched salmon leaping up the Falls of Feugh and visted Burn O'Vat, a very interesting naturally hollowed out rock in a stream that you can only get to when water levels are low using stepping stones (featured)- oh dear  15,000 paces and this is supposed to be rest day. We rested with club members at a BBQ in the evening by which time the lovely sunny day had turned to rain.
