Holiday day 5

Day 5 and we headed to the stadium to buy football tickets for tomorrow night. Monaco are playing against Toulouse and it is amazing that here you can buy really good tickets at the last minute!

We took the opportunity to go to a different beach in cap d'ai and on the way saw lots of fish swimming in the marina. It was difficult to get a photograph because of the sun reflecting on the water but I managed to get one!! I also saw a little gecko or lizard of some kind but wasn't quite quick enough to get a photo! A few hours by the pool and a quite afternoon, means I have nearly finished reading my second book already!

We have a busier couple of days ahead so we wanted a quite day today!

We are living a very simple life here. No technology (other than our phones but we use them minimally), no tv etc. We get up and go to the bakery for bread/pastries, get fruit and vegetables from the market and today a rotisserie chicken from the butchers for dinner tonight. We read and talk and walk around looking at the world pass us by!

Again I ran today but went this evening- this photo is from one of the lovely views on my route!
