Crab, Crab and More Crab

Yesterday was the best day crabbing in Tillamook Bay ever! The crab were really big and we got 36!!!! Then today we had another family visit and we crabbed again and got 18.....Here is the Young Man of the family with our two 5 gallon buckets of crab. Extra shows another photo of the crab( measure at 15 inches). Note to self: make sure things are not half way in the sun and halfway in the shade!!! 
 Tonight we celebrated my youngest grandchild's 16th birthday.... where did the years go?  She is an expert Crab Cracker and enjoyed a yummy crab dinner.......but surprisingly she ordered that crab at a restaurant..... she got a King, Snow and Dungeness Crab platter. Her other Grandpa was encouraging her to try it and he was paying.....so I didn't say a word. 
It was a lovely day at the beach .....warm with a breeze......very nice.
