Star of the show

We visited the Mckee-Beshers Wildlife Management Area today. Thirty acres of planted sunflowers for the birds and deer to enjoy. There were birds and butterfly's but Brook was the star of the show for us! She is a birder just like her grammy. She had her camera and bird and butterfly identification material in hand and off we went. She found the first smiley face sunflower also!
The extra is a female goldfinch I believe. We saw blue buntings also but to fast for a photo.  There were people throughout the sunflower rows keeping the birds in flight.
