Car air filter

Completely ignored my car air filter. 60k on the thing and look how crappy it looks. Someone I work with was complaining that they paid $40 to have one put in and it turned on the light. I've never done it. 
Today I bought one at Walmart for $11. Took all of 2 minutes.
I should be in the business.
Don't hate me for ignoring my Subaru.
