Skate Jam

This morning I went out on the bike to buy some new trainers. At lunch we waved Granny off from her lovely stay she has had with us. And this afternoon whilst the Girls stayed at home Boy and I headed down to the skate park where there was fundraising skate jam going on.

There were bands playing whilst teh skating went on. The event had brought out more skate boarders than we usually see at the park so Boy was very pleased as there is nothing he likes more in this world than a skateboard, gave or take the odd cuddle.

We had a lot of fun with our Boy time and we even bumped into some friends down there. Leaving later than we were supposed to meant we had a rush to get back for dinner, though we did have a quick stop on the way out to buy Boy a skate park hat in order to get him to take his ear defenders off. Oh and it looked great on him. Once home he ran to the door shouting "HAT, HAT, HAT!" at Wife and Girl who had been making bracelets.
