Jackhammers & drills are a special joy

The offices across from where I work - across the hallway - are being renovated. Very, very noisily. Jackhammers, drills, the works. The university likes using the summer months for this when undergrads aren't around. But postgrads work through the summer, and so do their lecturers.

Result: a thumping headache and a bad mood. Grrrrrr.
