Kykkos monastery

Another trip today into the Trudos mountains and up to Kykos monastery - one of the richest monasterys in this part of the world. Inland Cyprus surprisingly hilly and wooded and lots of interesting geology I suspect - the whole island is volcanic.
The monastery was packed with pilgrims and shoulder and knees had to be covered to get into the church.
