Peace on the river

Walking with our walking group along the river to Elton when this lovely view came into sight. The old mill must have been there for centuries and once it would have been a hive of industry. Just a bit further along the river we came across a couple manoeuvring their narrow boat through the lock. They told us that they planned to live on it so let's hope their first winter is a mild one.
