These always do well in the worst places. This one is in the middle of rocks near our fence. The extra is a small Columbine by our front door.
Okay, very strange information today. I have been busy doing the family tree for a few years and have about 400 people on my side. Every single on of my ancestors is Dutch. Almost all from Zeeland or North Brabant. I just got my DNA results back and they say I am 33% English, 29 Northwest European, 23 % Scandinavian and 13 % Italian! I think there must be more mobility than I imagined in my tree. Maybe too many parties with good Dutch Genever Gin.
