Indulging

Not packing. Again!

Though a considerable amount of sorting did happen this evening so it seems like a distinct possibility we will be ready come the magic leaving hour of 4pm tomorrow. Though there is the definite possibility that I won't feel ready because I never do.

Given which, I'm sure it had no real impact at all that I spent the afternoon at the cinema with Anna and two of her friends (Vivien and Isabella) watching The Emoji Movie. Verdict from me: perfectly fine and better than expected - 5.5/10. Girls: fabulous - 7.5/10. Far more entertaining were the car rides there and home - though after that level of Musical.ly I needed some quiet time when we got back.

Before all that there had been a morning of taking Albi to her holiday pick-up (pathetic amounts of missing her) and taking Anna to see an osteopath. Recommended by Anna's double bass teacher as someone with lots of experience with ligaments. All fine and I think helpful, though a little frustrating that yet another medical professional had yet another opinion on what was happening...in addition to the ligament damage she thinks the knuckle was dislocated....so more exercises and advice and a nice hand and arm massage for Anna. Hopefully all to the good...

I'm normally a grumpy refusenik on the old cinema pick n mix but I was persuaded to indulge the girls. Not least as one of their parents had given us free tickets for the cinema.
